Knight & Day Restaurants History

Food is a fickle business and restaurants come and go. A few can measure their lifespan in decades rather than months, but only a handful enjoy the long-standing, and far-spread, success that Knight & Day Restaurants has achieved in its 42 years of operation. The founder, Greg Pappas, opened the first Knight & Day during the Beatles era in 1964 and hasn’t looked back since. They now number six and are poised to expand to the next level with their Neighborhood Grill.

Value has always been a key component in Knight & Day’s success. Elsewhere trends come and go, but the restaurant continues to draw, and keep, customers by simply offering generous servings of tasty food at pleasing prices.
Its warm and welcoming staff is yet another reason why customers come back time and time again to Knight & Day. The only “attitude” you find here is the belief that a customer should feel relaxed and well-fed whether they are having a complete dinner or a quick cup of coffee and dessert.
